That was why I decided to work out how many calories are in my regular meals and snacks... Don't want to go full on counting, but having and idea helps!

Definitely- I remember someone I know smashing in a bag of trail mix a day thinking they were having a healthy snack 😬 I mean it’s better than a kilo of chocolate if that is where you were at but...

Exactly!

I really do.live healthily, no ready meals or takeaways for a start, but the amount of people who think that if they have tescos finest sausage and mash, they are eating healthily, think again! If from a nutritionist point of view you look at all the additives for a start!

As pure a diet as possible will make the body use what you put into it properly so a much better balance.

And don't start me on low fat products...

I have just been for a nordic walk. Not very energetically, as I spent a few hours burning calories gardening as well... And I find the pain in my shoulder exhausting too! So just having a small portion of vegetable crisps while waiting for the over to warm up my roast vegetables with halloumi i made yesterday for 2 days.

126 calories for the crisps... I usually eat the whole bag, but I have bern good and ding it out in 4 portions this week. Whole bag is 504 calories :-o
