I had a terrible event with a repair last week, I was stitching a seam on my machine and suddenly the machine sucked my leggings down through the feed and everything got jammed. I had to take my machine apart to free them and even then it was touch and go wether I might have to cut them out!

j_e_l_l_y Sep 2022 10:07am, 20 Sep 2022 3,635 posts	0 j_e_l_l_y Depending on how big the repair is I may try a ‘blanket’ st to look like the machine st, although saying that once I’d got my leggings free from the sewing machine I just hand sewed them with a ‘stab’ st, oversewing the edge and although it doesn’t look fab, I’ve decided it will do for the time being till I can face doing it again!
