Yeah I guess so Hann, at least socks are cheaper than trainers and I get over 1,000 miles from my trainers, I don’t think these socks have done many! Just one of those things!

I found, when I still ran for days on the fells, the only socks that lasted were the smart wool merino ones. They also didn't smell of bog after two wet, muddy runs... Unlike my fell shoes or any other socks. They are usually also conveniently black, brown or grey

Oh when it comes to wet, I have one pair of Dexshell waterproof socks, they are brilliant!

I've run in Karrimor socks for years, and they used to be hard wearing. The last couple of years they've been awful though: coming apart at the seams or fraying under the heel. One race when my socks actually fell apart with something like 20 miles to go, I had to borrow a pair off a total stranger.
TL:DR I need a new sock supplier.

A lot of my running socks are from Decathlon and I’ve been very happy with them.

I have Aldi ones and some sketcher ones. Both males are great.

I like the karrimor compression but had a few pairs just go under my heel last winter, I will give the more miles a go and see what happens!

I’m an injinji fan I mostly run without socks but they are definitely my preferred sock of choice these days.

I love my CEP compression socks but they’re so expensive.
Not looked at karrimor.

I'm newly switched on to injinji and can't imagine going back to my old sicks
