I have just, via the internet, sent a message to my Sky box at home, telling it to record something. This will seem simple to you kids, but to me it is basically Star Trek, minus the cool transport beam sound effects.
So yeah, technology is a bit nuts, no?

i am old so useless with technology - but love it anyway

A big plus for me is there is no need to watch adverts any more - I wait to start watching a programme 3 or 4 minutes late, then I can fast forward through all the commercials.
I'm sure the advertisers hate it..!

I understand most technology, but am firmly of the opinion that something went wrong in the early 80s, with the invention of the mobile phone.
