[Last night, 8.30] Round the lakes, then past the leisure centre in Crosby, going well on the rising trail. U-turning back down the beach, more challenging in a steadily stronger WSW wind. Plenty of accumulated sand to deal with on the prom sections. 50:01, 5.1 miles.

Snoot
Cut short at Carl Side and decided against Skiddaw due to strong winds and thick cloud. Nice views after dropping under the clag.

Blustery!

Was going to try for a better 5K time to submit to my club's virtual time trial, but was feeling a bit tired. So had a steady 5k playing Fetch Hide and Seek.

Jono.
A very subdued 4 miles this morning, drizzle, but otherwise uneventful. Slight pull on the right calf muscle, its tightened up whilst sitting on my bum at work.

Hopefully I'll be okay be Saturday and my next jog

Good morning fetchlings, the pull on the right calf muscle turns out to be an Achilles issue - couple of weeks of for me.

I think I've collected the holy trinity of running injuries now, PF,hamstring, achilles.

swittle
Around sunset last night, an hour & about 10k in new money. I got to like my run more when I started a gentle climb to Burbo Bank. Turning, the pace picked up a smidge on firm even, damp beach, and a closing mile round the small lake & coastal park left me feeling I might have been able to add 10 mins or so. :)
