Great pics by Mr Snogard which are up already and are quite good! Took the race easyish, ran with a friend and we had to stop after Dennis the Menace for a paracetamol from St. Johns Ambulance as he had a bad headache.. seemed to work as he absolutely nailed New Zealand Road Bit disappointed about the goody bag contents, normally better than that, also Mr Potson was absent and there was no hotpot served in the clubhouse afterwards, but I did get a cup of hot Vimto Still a great event and I can't wait to do it again next year..

And personally over the moon to be within 20s of my PB there (was expecting at least a minute further away). I know the chairman of the club, who's wife usually does the hotpot, is unwell at the moment (he and my dad are childhood friends going back nearly 70 years now!) so that may explain the hotpot absence!! Agree about the goodybag though - the absence of countdown videos etc etc in advance implied there was a little less "fun" about it this year, and I think that was matched on the day. Though on the bright side, if they can arrange that weather each year.... Thanks to Mr Snogard for the photos - I think the RD has been using them to spot illicit headphone wearers! I did see a couple of Fetch vests, but sadly was a little too shy to say hello - perhaps next time!?
