Also set a parkrun PB this morning running 20:19 at Victoria Park.

Planning some hilly off road tomorrow morning, maybe 8-12 miles.

Enjoying a nice mix of easy running and a little bit of speed.

Sorry to hear that Remoh. I am very glad that NHS Highland is a good employer and my line manager a fellow runner and sometime training partner.

Finally tapering here with some gentle miles yesterday and today. Right even get the bike out tomorrow for the first time in 2015.

Is this the quiet before the storm? There's not been much happening here recently, maybe everyone is tapering too much or using the FB page to release tension.

I wasn't going to run again before Saturday, but my trusty Inov8 bumbag has broken - the zip has gone so it's now totally unusable. A new one arrived in the post yesterday, but slightly different design and I need to use it a bit before the race day, so will give it a very slow trial run after work. The back-up is a well-used rucksack, but I do prefer a bum-bag for ease of getting to stuff.

Might as well make the most of the lovely weather before we return to evil winter conditions again :-(

I'll be on course 11:30 - 16:30 as mobile support, cheering and chucking jelly babies at you all!. Planning to park Crianlarich, run down towards Beinglas and back, then prob to finish at Tyndrum and back, something like that. So I will prob only see middle of the pack of runners. Unfortunately I have to be back in Edinburgh for 7 to go see some show with MrsS(rrr) and her pals, so I've got a deadline. :-( But will hopefully see some/lots of you and administer sneak hugs! :-) G

I'm sure it won't really be an issue G, but the race rules disallow support runners so you should try not to hang about with any individual runner for too long. Have fun, I'll maybe see you there - marshalling at Drymen, then hoping to do a bit of running and/or walking and seeing folk at the finish.

I am nearly ready for the weekend. Lots of packing to do tonight before we head up to Tyndrum tomorrow morning to dump the van at the finish. I just blerged about the race! redwinerunner.co.uk

That's a good point shanksi. Will make sure I keep my supporting and my running separate. Don't want to cause anyone trouble. :-) G

I'm having severe Fling withdrawal symptoms.

Hope you all have amazing races and enjoy one of my favourite races.
