Hardly ever see foxes around here, but see loads of red squirrels. They give any greys they find a contraceptive pill so they canny breed.

Our hog was in the garden last night, but not spotted it on the cctv tonight. It's never bothered with the food we put out, but we do have an abundance of slugs in the garden.

Going off at a tangent here, but, went to see some local beavers the other week & they were magic. Are these wild or captive Ally-C They were wild, but moved close to here or else they’d have been put down. The reason they got to move here was, that there’s other wild ones quite close & in time they’d have got here anyway. |

They’re wild is the answer, but relocated from Tayside.

A bit later than usual this year but last night I was kept awake as the local foxes seemed to use my back garden to meet their mates meanwhile my front garden is full of holes where I presume the badgers are digging for worms. |

Not nocturnal but a rare visitor to our small garden this afternoon. It flew off, but a short later it was eating supper in our flower border. I couldn’t make out what it caught but there are only some legs and a few feathers left now.
