Bazoaxe
Slightly off topic but WFH and I can see a blackbird building a nest inside a tree in my front garden.

Bad news though is I saw a magpie go in that tree last night. And also a big black bird that looked menacing was around.

I hope the black bird is able to nest successfully Bazoaxe.

The black birds are very busy in my garden and the bluetits are in the nesting box next door - just need to keep the visiting white cat away - you would have thought a 60kg mastiff would do the job but they just like to taunt Ndog from the shed roof 🤷‍♀️

I didn’t see any nefarious activity but there was constant arriving with nest material all day.

I have seen three foxes tonight as well.

We had robins nesting in a tree in the back garden but the chicks appear to have fledged and gone. All happened very quickly. Less than a week from when we noticed.

Sadly in amongst the fun I forgot to get my garden waste bin collected which is very annoying.

Not one, not two, not three but four badgers in the garden last night.

Parents plus two youngsters I think.
