I had to give in and turn on the gas heating (fortunately fixed gas prices in February!), otherwise swmbo threatened to light the log burner! It is set to cut out at 20 degrees though

Had to turn down my heating. Was 17 degrees when I went for my run at 6 a.m. Strange weather.

Have had the little halogen heater on a couple of times when my feet are cold. Oil due Tuesday, so might turn the boiler back on tomorrow and let the thermostat decided whether or not heating is needed.

My wife puts the heating on. Her feelings of being cold enable me to wear shorts every day of the year.

Not had the heating on at all except for a very brief moment 6 weeks ago when I was a bit poorly. Long johns and woolly slippers help as my feet often get cold - often while my face is sweating.
It has been rather mild so far, but I’m sure it will be on by December, especially as it’s due to turn cold in the next few days.

Not yet but we’ve used the log burner for a few evenings. We would have had the heating on those evening if we didn’t have the log burner though.

I think living in a flat with no central heating and a huge single glazed window for 5 years has conditioned me somewhat. I’m still in a t shirt half the time and have windows open every day.
