Have you tried strawberry mousse?
(and I had to scroll up to check the spelling :-))

I don't find mousse or pollen tablets effective, I need drugs that aren't going to send me to sleep!

it's an individual response whether they make you drowsy or not IM, if loratadine has you dopey, then try cetirizine I'm intirgued by the idea of bee pollen, as far as I know bees are animals not plants and therefore don't have any pollen!

I've had no probls with loratadine in the past, so am a bit puzzled this year. I will try the cetirizine next!

I've been having locally sourced honey everyday since the end of April and so far, touch wood, I've not had any real hayfever symptoms. Usually I'm very bad with it.

I use loratadine wihtout problem, but accidently took a cetirizine tablet one morning and nearly had an RTA on the way to work as I couldn't keep my eyes open ! I am very very careful now.

Loratadine makes me drowsy, to the extent that I fall asleep in seminars when I'd normally manage to stay awake. Cetirizine is fine. I am clearly the anti-too-lilac - not lilac enough?

Buy some Haymax - it's incredible I've used this for the past two years and its been fantastic. You just apply and re-apply to the old conk.
BRILLIANT BRILLIANT BRILLIANT
I've suffered really badly with hayfever all my life and no pills or sprays ever seemed to work. Haymax does though!! You should be able to get it in any of the big supermarkets or Boots, or can buy online.
I've heard about local honey working too - glad its working for you wobblingtime

I have a sneaking suspicion that Vaseline would work just as well as Haymax and be a lot cheaper - I use Vas on my nostrils before running in the hayfever season (which is kind of February to November if you're me) and it definitely helps.

Hmmm, I have tried Vas Badger but still got the sniffles. Glad it works for you though!
