Housemate came into my room/office yesterday excitedly waving a sticky note at me. That's his 2nd booked in. I'm glad we'll be staggered in our vaccinations, means he can look after me when my arm falls off

I had my first yesterday afternoon. Touch wood I seem to have dodged any real side effects. I woke up at 2am feeling a bit achey so took 2 paracetamol and I've been fine since (but unable to sleep which is weird but not a listed side effect i dont think)

Second jab done today and back out before our 8:10 appointment time (nowhere to park MrsS in her power chair so whisked straight through). Dr had those cracking rainbow scrubs on like el Bee! was modelling 🌈

My second one is booked for 21st May, just before we go away for a week so I'm hoping for no side effects.

My coach said I wasn't allowed to get mine before my 10,000m race, because I'm quite likely to get a reaction (female, not elderly, had Covid, allergic to life, the universe and everything). It took ages for the right dates to come up but I'm booked for the evening of Friday 28th May, which gives me a full bank holiday weekend to feel like death warmed up. Maybe I'll be fine, which would be nice, but I take nothing for granted!
