He finally managed to book a jab on Friday after several hours of trying - not an ideal location (Sunderland) but he’s willing to take that. 🙂

It sounds like it was a very frustrating process! I was lucky as I got to book at work (NHS) and it was fairly simple (I had my first in January and my second in March).

Got my first jab today. I was surprised at how busy it was. When I booked online there were no second appointments at the same place so I had to backtrack and say I'd be happy to go somewhere else. Second jab booked 41 miles away. I guess the indoor bowls club where I went today will be an indoor bowls club again by July. And the local shopping centre will be open for ... shopping again.

Had my second jab this afternoon. It was as 'nothing' as the first one. I hope there will be as few side effects too (a vaguely sore arm the following day.)

It was very busy with fellow oldies, the game of musical chairs was the same as before. Lots of stabbers in the main room but it still took nearly half an hour tomove through the queue.

All good though. Obviously!

Feel ok this morning - just a bit of a sore arm but my Garmin data: only charged 3 body battery points all night and loads of stress from about midnight on.

Useful link to get NHS number:

Locally you get an invite from the GP surgery a few days after the mass vaccine Centre invite. If you can do the mass centre it relieves pressure on the GPs, but it can be easier to book. You will not miss out, you will get both doses. Although if your contact details are not up to date it is more tricky.
(apologies if I duplicate any info, not been following the thread)

In common with my first jab back in Feb, I'm not feeling ANY after effects whatsoever from my second jab yesterday afternoon. Just thought that would be a good thing to report.
