Just seen a post on FB from GP surgery saying 40-49 year olds will be jabbed a week Sat. Exciting.

Only a sore arm after yesterday’s second jab, same as the first. Off out running in a bit.

Slightly irked that my jab will likely be on a Sat. Any side effects will likely ruin my weekend rather than get me a day off work.

So I had my first jab a week and a half ago, my arm was a bit sore for a couple of days, and then fine, but now it has started getting sore again and is slightly red around the jab site. My understanding is that this is nothing to be concerned about.

Hope you arm feels better soon MT. I had my second jab yesterday afternoon and feeling a bit rough today. Just had a sore arm after the first one. This time sore arm, headache and kind of a hungover feeling. Interestingly, my Garmin is showing a big resting heart rate spike too.

I had some interesting heart rate data, plus stress and body battery data in the 24 hours after my first jab. See here for details if you're interested. fetcheveryone.com/blog/45540/2021/4#blog424557

I am now booked in for my second shot this Tuesday morning (had my 1st - Pfizer - on 24th Feb), so that will be 1 day shy of 11 weeks.

Had my second jab today - and got a badge! By a strange coincidence, I knew the gentleman that administered it - he used to be the pharmacist at my local pharmacy, but had retired a few years ago. |
