We got our first one (AZ) on 17th February and patiently waiting our blue letters for our second one. OH just had a bit of a sore arm for a few days but I felt a bit rough 24 hours later - headache and chills. Took paracetamol, went to bed and slept for a few hours and was fine after that.

I've calculated that I should be having my first jab between next week and Easter but still no notification. Saying that, my Dad (who is 85) only got his first one from a phone call with two days' notice.

Had the jab done an hour ago. Literally didn't feel a thing (and I'm not too keen on needles). Too early to speak of any side effects but I'll take a day or so off the running and rowing, just to be safe.

Had my second dose of Pfizer on Weds. To paraphrase for a couple of days I had aches in places I didn't know I had places. All fine now though. Done through work and very efficient.

Mr LF had his first dose of AZ yesterday and feels fine. Very efficient local vaccine centre (he says).

Second Pfizer yesterday. Bit of advise even if you are well trained and used to running marathons and ultras don't attempt one the day after your jab, it wasn't pretty

Well, good attempt anyway, Anna ;-)

Jagged today, by an army medic. Questions asked by a dentist*. Process to go in and get in place was quick. However, my jag was pretty painful and I felt faint afterwards. I was offered a lie-down, but I just sat for a couple of minutes, then left. By the time I got to the door, I was wishing I'd taken the offer up. Sat in my car for nearly an hour, and, although I don't feel terrible, I'm not right. Slept most of the afternoon, once home; had a short walk later and was unduly tired after.

I did wake up much too early though, and although I thought I was ok, maybe I was a bit more apprehensive than I admitted to myself.

*He was wearing fatigues, she has a top with her name and "Dentist" embroidered on it.
