Reading back, it’s just occurred to me that the “wait 15 minutes“ wasn’t an option when I had mine on Tuesday. The only waiting area was the car park where we queued to go in, only one person in the pharmacy at a time, no seats - not even to have the jab! Perhaps you don’t need to wait with the Oxford AZ jab?

It didn’t bother me, I’m pleased to have been given the vaccination.

AtC, there is no need to wait with AZ. Sherry should have waited for 15 mins after her Pfizer jab, but was “dismissed” well before that time was up.

Only 1 other person waited while I was waiting I had to wait after flu jab too they said because of allergies.

Now starting to feel light headed north side if it’s paranoia

No pain in my arm but husband said his arm is a bit achy.

I did laugh at the leaflet we got when we left that said read before you have your vaccine

We presumed we had the Pfizer as we were told to wait 15min before driving home. Waiting was in the car though as no other room available and we actually had the AZ?

I was asked to go sit in my car for 15 mins, with the window open, and to call a car park marshall if I felt ill - that was the AZ one.

I had mine on Friday. I was told not to drive for 5 minutes but I was walking so that wasn't an issue. I am mostly recovered - the chills kicked in after 12 hours and lasted for about 18 hours. A bit of a headache but paracetamol got rid of it. I was lethargic yesterday but that could have been because of disturbed sleep. My arm is still hot, bruised and aches, but I felt the jab and no-one else I know did.

I’m starting to feel light headed and have a sore throat. But back in the beginning of covid I got a sore throat every time I went somewhere different so that could be paranoia.

I had AZ at a vaccination centre. Those that had travelled/driven there alone were asked to sit for 15 minutes post jab, which I did. I felt fine though. Mild systems post jab didn't kick in until the next day.
