Yes it came too quickly so mine is probably wetter than it started. Rain seems to have gone off again.

I love a huge pile of clothes to sort. I dump it all on the armchair in my bedroom then sort it all in to piles for each member of the family on the bed. Quite soothing really.

I think I hate sorting out the clean clothes, but when I actually do it I quite enjoy it. Apart from the socks. Two men who wear the same size of socks and have some odd pairs makes this a little challenging.

When I got home last night, the washing was still all on the line :( But it hadn't rained :) One or two of the descendants' garments may have been folded up with bird poop on them. They never wear anything for more than five minutes at a time, they won't notice.

I have washed and dried two loads. One has been put away. They dried really quickly. I'm considering pegging myself out next.

Lol lammo. My phone only copied the first 4 numbers of the image reference which turned out to be contro.
Been another good drying day today. Am I the only one who takes the washing down in order of oldest to youngest family member? No? My OCD then.

Nope, just whites/colours/stinky kit. The fleecelings' socks are smack in the middle of the last 2 categories :)

Nice ocd Silvershadow.

I have 2 lines with a stretcher each so imagine 4 sections. The 2 sections on the right get most sun so I start with the longest, heaviest items starting in the middle and working right. Then next 'right' section. Then I do the two 'left' sections. Underwear on the last section. I facilitate this by pre sorting the washing as it comes out the machine on to heavy / light clothing. I sort the dry clothes out in piles of oldest to youngest left to right. As Harry Hill once said, you've got to have a system.

So tempted to take down the full length curtains in the sitting room to wash, the thought of ironing them puts me off though, and they are quite heavy.

Weather forecast: Shall I hang my washing or not ? Check here:

Terminology: 'Fluffing' -- Going out and runninng your hands over the washing just to feel whether still moist. Sometimes not needed but we all like to fluff

'Melvyn' - where you run you fingers through your washing, you think it's damp but you're not sure. It could be dry. You leave out or take in? you've done a Melvyn'.

Also for sharing photos of 'Extreme pegging'. Plastic or wooden they are all embraced here :)
