Could'nt find the original thread but It's that time of year when you're washing is starting to jusssst get dry out there ! Embrace those moments here and discuss the real true enjoyment of seeing your towels gently wafting in the spring fesh breeze. Truly wondrous moments !

Every time there's a good drying day, I think what a shame it is that I have no washing to hang out. I'm almost at the point where I consider it a waste of a day.

I discovered yesterday that we have an odd-number of matching pegs. Therefore some garments had to go up with odd pegs. Drove me nuts, I tells ya!

I'm just about to hang some out. The socks will be going up in pairs and the shirts will be hung upside down so they don't get knobbly shoulders.

I get properly freaked when I have exactly the right number of pegs for the washing I've done...or is it the karma-washing fairies helping me out?

Nightmare. Washed a white tablecloth yesterday. Wasn't quite right, so washed it again. Took it out to hang, dropped it in the kids' sandpit, so washed it again. By the time it was actually hung to dry, the sun had set. It's still dripping wet this morning.
