Hi, just looking for marathon plans (first timer at 42km but have running experience) Anyone used these plans? I’m presuming these are more detailed when you sign up rather than the basic ‘go for a run session’ I can see for free. I’m realistically looking at 4 runs per week to commence January / February for an early July race. I have a half in early October and a 30km in December. 😀👍🏻

Hi Brandon. I’ve never signed up for the app but have used Hal Higdon training schedules. They work well for me.

I used the Hal Higdon one in 2012 knocked 20 mins off my time. It’s good because you can adapt it to fit in with life and I think he explains things very well.

I’m interested to hear about these plans too... although it’s too late to do much for the virtual VMLM40, I’d like to have a proper crack next year

They're simpler... (not a bad thing)

I used H.H. Novice 1 for my first marathon in 2008. It got me round in a time which I have not bettered in 9 attempts since, using more sophisticated plans.
As stuH says, they are simple. But they get you round.
