I'll be rolling up to the front of A without much time to spare. The benefits of a local Airbnb...

I wouldn’t leave it too late jda, as according to this page https://www.greatermanchestermarathon.com/participant-start-info/?dm_t=0,0,0,0,0 start pen A will close at 8:30... whether you believe that or not is a different question.

I know it will change a lot but weather so far looks OK for Sunday - 6-10 degrees and winds of 9-11. Although a few gusts up to 20 but thats to be expected. Bit chilli at start but I will take that.

Five months preparation and down to looking at weather predictions :-)

I think the weather picture will be clearer from Friday. When did the course omit Dunham Massey? It was cold in 2012 and that was end of April

A few days ago I was having a discussion with someone on the internet, and he sent me some links which were supposed to Prove That You Burn More Calories When It's Hot. They didn't. But one of them hints that 11C is the ideal temperature for getting the largest fraction of your energy from burning fat, so we're sorted :) :)

In actually true and useful information, this page shows where the live tracking will be if anyone wants that (took a little bit of finding in the labyrinth that is their website)

Shouldn't that have changed into a link?
