I don't normally start next years race thread so early... but just for jdarun 
For anybody thinking of entering next year's race on Sunday 7th April, midnight tonight is the deadline for the discounted "launch entries" of £45.
Unlike previous years, it appears that they will be closing entries after today until September (TBC), when entries will be £55.
However, if you've completed this marathon four or more times then you should receive (in the next few weeks) an invitation to join the GMM "Legends Club" which means you can enter for £40 (at anytime).
If you do enter, then I'd recommend considering booking your accommodation before 14th June, as that's the day the Premier League football fixtures are released, and given the proximity of the start to Man Utd's home ground, if they are scheduled to be at home on Saturday 6th then local hotel prices shoot up immediately.

Hmmm, very tempted.
- I ran well at Manchester in 2016.
- I ran not-so-well at London in 2017 & 2018.
- I had marathoner-envy spectating in the cooler climes of Stirling yesterday.
Part of me feels compelled to use my GFA privilege at London, but the PB-chasing part of me is drawn back to Manchester.

I've never done this one and it was always my intended fall back from London. It's far enough away though that even if my Good for Age time is good enough I can do both. So I'm in.

So the Premier League fixtures have been announced this morning, and the games currently scheduled for Sat 6th April are very unlikely to have any effect on race weekend:-
Man City Vs Cardiff
Wolves Vs Man Utd
I still haven't entered yet, as I'm waiting for my email about the GMM "Legends Club", despite being told 2-weeks ago by Xtramile's BD Manager that "it should have been sent out last week"; I assume nobody else has received any info?
