If you download the excel file from the website it does have quite a lot of DNFs who, as Meglet says, have some splits, presumably upto they DNFd.

Sometimes people deliberately dnf, perhaps they're injured and just want some race practice.

There are some local juniors who aren't eligible to do a full Olympic distance, but at the tri last year they did the swim section for experience/practice. They were first out of the water, could be interesting this year as I think they're old enough now, the lad came third overall in Sunday's sprint tri :-o

I got an iTab - thought I would for my first marathon, looks pretty good. AND I got my missing trousers back today - they got lost in the baggage debacle :)

A couple of friends of mine got their stuff back in the past few days - everything was still in the bag.

I know the situation at the time was messed up but since then I think the organisers have done a pretty good job of trying to make it right.

Everyone ignored you anyway Meglet :)

Compared to Edinburgh Marathon (which I seem to be doing in about 8 days time - eek) Manchester Marathon seems immaculately organised! My number arrived today, with someone else's name and contact details on it. Great.
