Just read the FAQ Guide
No number transfers, no refunds or deferrments even if medical certificates provided
If non profit races can do this, why can't Xtra Mile?
Still not sure about entering.
Also, anyone thinking of volunteering, this is not a charity race, you would be doing this so the company can make a profit.

The good thing is that you've got choices - enter and play by their rules or don't enter and do something else instead or organise your own not-for-profit marathon or volunteer and support the 1,000s who are pleased to see another NW Marathon.
I'm going to enter and hope that they do make a decent profit; it might encourage them to put on a few more marathons.
