Well played Nick. I've never played foursomes. Do you come off feeling like you've only played half a round? Or is it a bit more satisfying than that?
Think my first outing on course (and comp) is going to be Friday week. On a notoriously tight links layout, in February. What could possibly go wrong? 🤣

It went OK. 35 points off 18, 1 birdie, 7 pars, 2 x OB, 1 x shank (:-o).
Some way off winning since one lad shot 5 under. Gross! He was in another group unfortunately, I would *loved* to have watched that.
Days getting longer, ground slowly drying out - I love the anticipation of the start of the season.

My PT is getting me to do unfeasible things with my shoulders and general posture which are going to have, I would expect, a major impact on my swing. Next trip to the range will be interesting. May report Fetchland's first air shot of the year any day now...

Just had a lesson. Left hand grip too strong. Stance total crap; left hip too far forward, head and chest too far back, standing too far back from the ball.
Hitting the ball much cleaner now, and not hooking so much! 😊
Will see how the round goes on Saturday! (Weather permitting).

Grep - any reports of the back fences getting nervous yet?
Nick - as lammo says, plenty (too much?!) to think about there. I can only make sense of lessons by going home and writing down everything I could think of, and then looking at those notes again really often.
I've also been that guy trying to video his own swing at the range (not easy), and worse still carrying a 24" x 12" mirror in to prop on a chair behind me.
Hopefully, it's sinking in (for us both)
