ElDude - It's such a buzz to end a round well isn't it? Sends you home with all manner of positive thoughts, "what could have been", and what you can do next time.

You going to play a bit more frequently than once/year now? ;-)

Yep, totally ptb. Its what brings you back to the game.

I hope so. Will certainly get some more social games. It's probably unlikely i'll join a club and play regulary until my kids are a bit older. (Or if I get them to play). We have 4 boys and at the moment disappearing for 4+ hours for some piece and quiet isn't that easy :)

Morning all, any more adventures to report?

I've just played my annual golf weekend, and retained the trophy, first person to do so, so am delighted :-)

100 points over three rounds saw me as the most consistent golfer of the weekend.

We played down in south Wales, just past Swansea ay Clyne golf club, The Gower golf club and Langland bay, which was very nice. As you might image it was very windy but we had some stunning views.

Well done on the back-to-back, lammo. Clyne looks interesting from a quick search - a bit old-school and rough around the edges?

10 days since my first ever Scottish golf, on the East Lothian coast. Kilspindie day 1, then 2 Gullane courses on day 2. Loved it, it's so good to be challenged in the way links golf does.

I'm still sitting around 19.x index. My chipping is frequently horrible lately, desperately looking for a fix here!

Exactly that PtB, not long just a good challenge, a few balls were lost among the group.

Sounds like you've had some enjoyable golf too.

Sounds like some nice golf trips guys.

and paul the builder, i've not played those courses but you can't go wrong for quality courses over there by all accounts.

I've still not played since Monifieth but hope to rectify that after my holiday in a couple weeks.

Any Scottish fetchies interested...have 2 tickets ( can be sold separately ) for Tues 12th July at St Andrews £40 a ticket . Practice day at the open
