It's probably unlikely i'll join a club and play regulary until my kids are a bit older. (Or if I get them to play). We have 4 boys and at the moment disappearing for 4+ hours for some piece and quiet isn't that easy

I've just played my annual golf weekend, and retained the trophy, first person to do so, so am delighted 100 points over three rounds saw me as the most consistent golfer of the weekend. We played down in south Wales, just past Swansea ay Clyne golf club, The Gower golf club and Langland bay, which was very nice. As you might image it was very windy but we had some stunning views.

Clyne looks interesting from a quick search - a bit old-school and rough around the edges? 10 days since my first ever Scottish golf, on the East Lothian coast. Kilspindie day 1, then 2 Gullane courses on day 2. Loved it, it's so good to be challenged in the way links golf does. I'm still sitting around 19.x index. My chipping is frequently horrible lately, desperately looking for a fix here!

Great shooting lammo and paul the builder, i've not played those courses but you can't go wrong for quality courses over there by all accounts. I've still not played since Monifieth but hope to rectify that after my holiday in a couple weeks.
