Wobbling
I had a bit of bad news today (not relevant to this thread at all) and was all set to sink into a gloom this evening, but I read through the thread updates, and I'm almost smiley now. Thank you.
As you were.

Lots of positive posts but I guess not a lot of people in a similar position to the reason for this thread would be willing to shout about their situation than those who are happy. The statistics are very sad reading indeed.

Longwayround (LWR)
The Christmas after I went to university, I returned home to find the parents of three of my friends had split up. As it turned out, Mr A and Mrs B had been together for years. Mrs A and Mr B didn't mind at all as they were at it too. Master A and Master B did suggest it explained why they had been on so many holidays together. I blame the writers of "Duty Free".

LWR - that's pretty much what happened with my Mother's first marriage. She and my Father bought a house with another couple, P & M. Mary and my Father started carrying on when Mum was pregnant with me, nice. They ran off together, leaving a pregnant woman, M's husband P, and their two daughters, aged 6 and 4. Mum and P ended up married, mainly for convenience I think. As mentioned, Mum wasn't happy for a lot of that marriage, altho it did last 17 years.
