I went for the snip and it failed miserably.
I'd like to say it was because my swimmers are so powerful they wouldn't let something like a tied tube stop them from getting to the open air, but the reality is a lot more prosaic.

I went for the snip and it was massively successful. And, despite the faint whiff of cauterised flesh emanating from the slab, I managed to engage the butcher, sorry, surgeon, in a fairly detailed discussion about private versus public healthcare, whilst in bollockus displayismus.
