For the first encore J pointed out that they didn't do scary Halloween songs, but this was the silliest song they knew - The Now Generation from their first LP which they hadn't played in 5 years. After that finished, all of the rest of the band put on Halloween masks for People Let's Dance and Gagarin apparently much to the surprise of J who asked 'what's going on, I would like to point out that this didn't go through the approval process, oh well we had better get on with it!' and at the end 'I'm going to pretend that didn't happen!'

It's entertaining and the music is great - but I'll definitely be ready to see them properly in Sheffield in December.

I saw Interpol in November 2010: I know this because I blogged it on here. I seem to have enjoyed it. Was quite tempted by this tour, but the dates didn't work.
