Actually Garfield, I'm showing off here. The following night, we went to see The Allman Brothers Band play at the Beacon Theatre. I've still got the t-shirt, though my wife says it's only fit for a rag now.

RAH report.
Teenage Cancer Trust gig. Compered by Emma B with a heart wrenching video story and Text £5 plastered everywhere, but all for a good cause.
Great night. About 75% full. The Levs are aging OK. Jeremy has lost some bounce and Mark is carrying a few extra pounds, but aren't we all. The crowd are aging as well. I was feeling young and I'm in my 40s. We took our 13 year old daughter, who was the youngest there by a long way. They played a couple of new songs, so maybe a new album on the horizon.
Don Letts did some DJ'ing between sets so evening seemed to flow quite nicely.
Wildwood Kin earned themselves a lot of fans with a very good set. Think a folky Corrs, but without the insestuous brother.
Dreadzone, on form as always. Not the longest set, but got the room bouncing.

Last gig I went to was Focus in November last year at theBritish Legion Hall, Wokingham. Brilliant night - even Mrs C enjoyed it!
First gig, Cockney Rebel, circa 1976. Sailor were the support band - enjoyed them more.
