The Bug Club were even better than I anticipated, even Hendo seemed impressed. a genuine joy.
Sam on guitar was ace, with no effects peddles and never stopped to retune. Decided Drummer Dan is Tim Keys but slimmer.

Bug Club and Mock Tudors in Nottingham last night. Both were excellent.

Bug Club are good fun I saw Peter Hook & The Light last night, at Sub89 in Reading. 40 minutes of New Order tracks, then the two Joy Division albums in full, plus an encore of non-album Joy Division songs (and one extra New Order track). Nobody is ever going to say Hooky is a "great" singer, but it was a good show, and my 16 year old son loved it. Joy Division, it appears, cross generations!

We're looking at The Bug Club for tomorrow at the Brudenell. I was surprised it hadn't sold out, when I looked, but seems can probably still get tickets on the door.
