That is odd, especially at this age when you generally invite the whole class. As they get older they might ask for a smaller party just with close friends but in Reception and Year 1 it's usually the norm to do a class party, I thought? I feel for you. Do you have any socials/drinking for parents? If not, maybe suggest that to the class rep? Hope this gets better, it's not nice to feel excluded x

Oh well, these things happen. I think I ws more bothered than he was. They sometimes have drinks but everything is very disjointed. There seem to be groups. We've 3 P1 classes. We don't have a class rep.. hmmm. In the way of karma a mum from nursery asked for a play date today and the boys went on their bikes and had a blast :-) x

Oh and I did a buggy parkrun in 24.18 which I thought was pretty decent. :-)

Wow! I dream of 24.18 without a buggy, with a following wind and downhill all the way! Nice running.

I did a slowish 3 miler today - but at leat I ran. Have already beaten last years total mileage and am closing in on the total from the year before. So quite pleased with that :-)

Aw thanks ladies. The buggy must think I am slow, it was Smout's so it's used to faster than that :-o

Well done on your run treacle :-)

Wow kp!utting me to shame. I've entered a sprint Tri I may, first race since kids. Training is sporadic at best but it's happening. Swimming with Tri club once a week, running maybe 2 or 3 times, on my bike today for the first time!! Well it's a start....!

Thats great Jude! I think there has to be a certain element of acceptance that training may be a little more sporadic than it was pre-children:-)

I'm going to attempt my 3rd run this week at lunchtime. Its a long time since I've done 3 in a week (and I did a Body Combat class as well). (polishes slightly wonky halo...)
