FWIW, I see "exercise load" reported for activities recorded on my (fairly new) Edge 1040, but not for activities recorded on my (almost antique) Fenix 5X. If I were a cynic, I might think that it's intended to incentivise me to buy a new watch... |

I'm not looking on the website so no idea there, but on the app, the exercise load page shows it. Accessed via training status tile, then clicking on load value. google.com |

Thanks SPR. On my GC app clicking that just links to the 4 week graph, though I did note that on the way to that page a screen flashes up with two headings of "Acute load" and "Load ratio". I had to be quick to grab a screenshot of it, but it has no data in it. May well be one of those Garmin features that is really just a toggle to switch it on for all devices of the same type, but they keep it hidden to make it look like higher end devices have more features. I couldn't see it via RunAlyze either so looks like it's not recorded in the .fit files (or hasn't been parsed by the RA team to extract it). |

I wonder if this is the answer to why my load looks light, as I'm uploading to GC from a .fit file, not directly from Zwift (for "reasons"). |

I have a four week graph with the activities listed underneath. As you say, may be watch model specific.

Yep, nothing listed below my 4w graph. Ah well, guess I'll just stop paying attention to the training status!

When I used my old FR110 for swimming, I put on a swim cap, put Garmin on top of my head, then put another cap over of it to keep it dry inside. Since the top of my head is mostly out of the water no matter the stroke, it worked very well. It didn't even have a swim widget so I had to log it under 'other' and then manually switch to swimming.

Re: Garmin Connect layout change on Android. I was a bit confused when the menu was suddenly at the right bottom corner. I think I need a while to get used to that. Right now, my muscle memory still goes to the left top corner.

Probably daft question - most of the time I use my garmin as a normal watch so I guess when I go abroad I'll need to get it to find the satellites so it says the correct time

I think it just changes automatically based on syncing with Connect etc.
