Anyone out there using a newer Garmin maybe fenix 7 and an HRM strap of some sort?

Iโ€™m having issues since a while, it โ€œrecordsโ€ hr fine, but with very poor accuracy.

Iโ€™ve seen that it also misses breathing when hr stops being useful. I donโ€™t care about breathing stats, but it shows in some way that something is going on.

I use a fenix 7 x SS, HRM pro plus, battery ok, itโ€™s clean, and I even use ECG-gel.

So anyone looking at their HR who have some issues too?

Hereโ€™s some more in the Garmin forum.

Last few pages.

Hmm no. Last interval session I did was four weeks ago today, using an HRM PRO.

And that's a 7xSS.

This was today using a Polar H10

Drops are where I paused for traffic lights, all look sensible, and the breathing rate is sensible too.

Ok, thanks badger, have you taken a look at the last few post in the Garmin forum thread where I posted a few examples?
Really strange stuff.

For anyone else wondering: in the phone app, tap on a graph and it opens full screen, then tap on one of the buttons at the bottom to do the overlay. Shame it'll only overlay one at a time.

Yes I looked, never seen anything like that.

Yes itโ€™s strange, maybe the HRM pro broken, but a few others see the same, and I guess a lot of people not looking at the data, or logging on on GC web, and in the app it looks fine it fills in the graph . Only on the web to see the inconsistencies in data on breathing.
Someone see the thing happening with different HRM straps, so maybe itโ€™s not the HRM strap.
But maybe Iโ€™ll try to get it exchanged anyway to rule that out.

Do you have hrv tracking turned on?
The Garmin straps send current HR four times a second so it's puzzling how the watch might be messing that up. It might also be recalculating it on the fly from the RR intervals and maybe there's a data issue there. Just speculating at this point.
