Sigh
On the 245, I have to go "Run-Options-Courses-[select course]-then scroll for 'Delete' (same sub-menu as 'Do course').

I've got a vague recollection of on my Fenix 5 whilst the list of courses is on screen, long-press on one of the buttons gave a 'delete all' option. Just tried on my Fenix 6 and it doesn't work. Maybe I'm mis-remembering.

Factory reset (delete data & settings) and reconfigure might be quicker :-).

On the older ones you could hook it up to a PC and delete the route files. Given the manual import mechanism is still the same I'd have thought this would still be possible but not tried it on recent devices.

PC hookup does look like the best option. Under the "courses" folder they (on my 645) have the names that show up in the listing so easy to pick and delete the "right" ones.

Yes, I think PC delete that would be the only way. Nearly every day I have a new Fetchpoint course, so I have tried to get in the habit of deleting the previous day's course before starting today's course, so that they don't accumulate on the watch.

Further to above discussion on my melted Forerunner, after a bit of email ping-pong and some attached photos, Garmin have offered a replacement watch and charging cable (on later inspection it was also melted around the clip). Can’t say much fairer than that.

That's good news, Rossco Peeko. Are they replacing like-for-like, or are they offering you a 245?

Can anyone help me with a suggestion as to how u can view my hr on my Fenix 6x please …. when I train in the gym doing cardio I don’t record the activity on the watch but I DO want to see my HR periodically. However when I select the HR widget it only persists for about a minute then flicks back to the watch face

I have it displayed on the watch face but the numbers are too small for ages eyes in the middle of a workout.

Can you not record the activity so that you can choose a screen displaying HR, then delete the activity afterwards?

Cheers westmoors…. I think that’s my fall-back approach if there’s no way to get the widget to persist 👍
