How many bugs is the maximum you can have? I seem to have brought all my bugs with me when I moved, and they continue to appear!

I currently have 37...

Also, what are the Fetch Relay marker badges that have popped up?

(Should I go to the badges thread?!)

Bugs have a natural (?) lifespan of 30 days so, ordinarily, the maximum number you can have is 30.

However, when you move your home point - and take all your bugs with you - their 'birthdate' resets to the date you moved them and they will die off 30 days after that. So, in practice, the maximum you could have is 30 plus the number you moved last time you relocated your home point. The good news is that, so long as you leave your home point in one place for a while, you should see a relatively large drop off 30 days after moving without actually having to do anything.

Nobody on the badges thread knows what those Fetch Relay marker badges are about either.

Hope that helps and/or makes some degree of sense

In theory, you could end up with a circle chock full of bugs just by nudging your circle every so often (less than 30 days), and not squishing any. Though I think it might take a while, and also you can lose a few in the grid move if their new locations overlap or hit a snag. (If I remember correctly when I did a move once trying to amass them… probably due to inaccessibility markers.)

Thanks CumbriAndy

JCB I don't want anymore!!

They'll wither and die of their own accord then, unless I scoop them up first.

This morning I stopped my Garmin TWICE to avoid two traffic lights.
It's not what you might think, I wasn't cheating, trying to avoid congestion charges - in fact it was the opposite.

I walked (I didn't trust the buses, they are often not turning up) to the next village (home circle of another Fetchpoint player) this morning for a Nurse's appointment (none available in my village).

To get there I had to pass through 2 unclaimed traffic lights, but I chose not to claim them so I stopped my watch each time.
Sorry Bright Strider having avoided the 2nd TL the first time I went through it, when I left the Nurse to get to the bus stop to go home I had to go through it again but was distracted by several things and forgot to stop my watch. I hope it is not in too inconvenient place for you. I won't be renewing ownership.

Hi Flatlander,
Thanks for your reassurance. I was a bit puzzled when I looked at the map.
I don't have to worry about such things when going through your village because you have usually bagged the traffic lights there.
I've had a few days off or a few slow days to recover from a virus, so I haven't been as on the traffic lights in my village. I think I'll probably pick up Fetchpoint more seriously after Christmas.
Merry Christmas!

Gooner
I have completed a couple of walks recently, have collected multiple gems on both occasions but the bugs aren't being squished. Anybody any ideas?
