Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Oh! That explains why I get so few jewels then... Not because of flowers in my circle but because most of it is out of bounds...

Oh! I had assumed a jewel attempts to place itself at random, then, if the point is inaccessible it has a go at another location until it finds a valid one. Is it really that, if a jewel doesn't touch down at first try, you don't get it for the day?!

I get very few jewels... They won't go where marked as inaccessible... Ultimately, I will only have a few strings of them :)

Just cycled back from work and it seems to be hit and miss on which flowers I watered on Route! Is it just one of those things, because I was cycling instead of running?

Just one of those thing Jelly! There is a random component on watering flowers.

There seems to be a big element of randomness involved in flower watering, both in the number of points given and whether or not a flower is watered if you pass over it less than seven days from planting it.

A flower etiquette question: if someone has high value flowers but doesn't appear to be treating the game like a game (i.e., not in the top 100 players) would you harvest them or leave them?

I think the chance of watering for each flower is x/7ths where x is the number of days since you planted it.

I should add, I'm not actively avoiding ones which happen to be on my planned route for the day, just wondering whether to take a detour occasionally.

I think you need to make a personal risk assessment on that one, SK. If someone has a low score, a load of uncleared bugs, and massive flowerbeds they might be laying the ground for an assault on the leaderboard. Which doesn't mean the flowers aren't fair game, of course.
