Rosehip
If it’s just flower - number, you have harvested them as you’ve managed to water successfuly and kep them alive for their designated lifespan

Jelly, after 30 days I think? Flowers are harvested and the score added... Why you need to keep topping them up...

Here is my flower strategy:
Top right is a cycling loop that takes me about 45 minutes. I regularly trash this out, as I don't have much time and now it is getting cold. I obviously keep planting, harvesting and watering flowers along there. If I haven't ridden it for a week, it tends to yield about 1000 points.
Top/middle left is my regular walking loop up onto Hatterall. I used to run that daily, now I walk it 2-3 times a week. You can see, it is heavily planted with flowers and yields hundreds of points.
Bottom left-ish you can see a start of a string of flowwers. This is the lane out of my valley south and used to go for bike rides South of my home circle.
I also have a small loop on 2 more regular routes I walk, with a small string of flowers so every time I ride or walk a bug out, it yields at least 100 points.
Then there are two more regular ride loops.
Practically, everywhere I can get out of my circle, there is a shorter or longer conglomeration of flowers. I get very few other items I can score with, so it has to be done.
Having said that, I am dropping like a tonne of bricks right now, as I cannot keep the scores up... I had to work hard on that cycling AND walking every day. This is now reduced for an hour or so of either each day.
I know I will never make it to 50.000 so I have lost motivation. Bit of a relief really!

It was for me, really, but I went after dark, so all good! I have since lost sight of gaining in the game as I got to 25.000 and shortly after I got Higgy ☺️

Very good ! Do you vary the start of your loops a bit so that the new spot for planting is clear? I haven’t been able to work that out very well.

Not always JCB, as I don't always think about it, so you get clusters of flowers right next to each other.

Thanks for sharing, JCB and Hanneke (I like that FP encourages this openness, contra WSW). My feeling is with your wording, JCB.

As I go past the thirty-day opening, I think it will pay me to put more attention on flowers. My home is just outside the circle. ATM I clear up jewels first. I wait for days that take me near the edge of my circle and tack flowers on (running only) or do them in a second outing. I think emphasis must change if I want the natural level of my score to go above 10000 or so for the distances I run.

I found that you can only get above a few thousand by creating flower runs outside your circle. As I can't run, I had to add cycling to the equation, as I simply am unable to cover enough ground to generate enough flowers to.push the score to 25.000. I have no idea how one would manage to ge above that... 30.000 just about, but more???
