I fixed that, but not until about 8am. So if your score yesterday went from <1000 to >=1000 as a result of the bug bonus, then you would have missed out. But I'll award it to you anyway, bear with.

Is this true, or do they disappear after a fixed time / value? I had two that were doing really well which I visited the day before I went on holiday and when I came back (5 days later) they were gone. Is this a feature or a possible bug? They last for up to thirty days from the day they first appear on the map. I say 'up to' because they will disappear after seven if not claimed. Once claimed, you need to keep visiting them at least once a week to retain ownership and keep them live. Sounds like, for these two, they both reached their 30 day limit while you were away. You can check when others you may own were first created by scrolling down the list of current markers on your 'Activity' page.
