Traffic lights should max out at 80 points and the owner can keep hold of them if they visit every 7 days.

One of the lights near me is owned by someone who doesn't play the game but is registered - it's very near to her home so it'll probably carry on being owned by her unless she goes on holiday.
Do traffic lights disappear after 30 days, and reappear elsewhere?
N-O odd that there are nameless bugs, I'd have thought they'd disappear if someone left.
Nearly broke into the top 100 today...

Yes, traffic lights expire after 30 days. Replacements may or may not appear elsewhere - it appears to be random, although sometimes non-appearance can be due to its spot already being occupied.

I have seen results for 'space' being posted, possibly in Fetchpoint recent activity.

Cleared my 3 bugs on my run yesterday and got the new one this morning on my way out of town on my bike ride. An hour later I'm back and I've scored another 1000+ point day! over 7k for the first time in years and I'm up to 78th on the table. A very flowery ride!

Nice work Nellers!
My bug-free streak is at 21 days now. And I nabbed an annoying traffic light which was tricky to avoid but became unclaimed overnight. Will have to go out again later to revisit one of my other lights.

Bug free for 62 days, although it has been close a few times due to senior moments. Todays bug will be squished.

I'm getting it by doing a fairly regular bike route, so I'm planting and watering a lot of flowers each time I pass. I also do whatever loops and wiggles I need as I leave town on the ride to collect any stray bugs and try to refresh the traffic lights I own. There's also a 200pt bug bonus in that daily total today.
