I know they have been "seen" by my GPS because they were included in the daily "Traffic lights protected" sum in my account. Do traffic lights have a finite life (but others owned about the same time are still there), or are you allowed only a certain number and if you go over that limit, the older ones are culled?

I had assumed that they were permanent provided you visited them every 7 days - the guide states traffic lights are a "A life-long money spinner".
