Apologies for total ignorance here, I used to be a regular player of this and understood the icons and the rules but things have changed a bit since then (it has been a long time). I am a bit confused, there only used to be green bugs, I've read the guide but am still a little confused over the green and the yellow headed bugs, I used to be able to go direct to a place on the map and now I can't, I used to be able to buy things to place on the map and the bug penalties used to be spread through the day so players weren't penalised for not being morning people  Can anybody give me quick overview of what has happened in my absence please as all the changes I see seem to be costing me points. And I can't see any coins but they're still on the game key, where are they?

Jerboa Green bugs are other peeps bugs that have not been infected by other peeps. Once infected the green bugs turn yellow. No coins anymore !

The red bugs are yours and need to be passed and run out of your circle. They cost you penalty points if they are left for more than a day. Green bugs are other people’s and you’ll gain points when you pass them ( you don’t need to run out of the circle for this ). Gain points by passing the gems. You can’t buy anything but you can claim traffic lights if you are first to pass them then anyone else pays you points when they pass .
Most things remain on the “board” for 30 days.
Flowers are similar to before but the points are different and they don’t gain points from every time you pass them.

There's a coin in the toggle box on the right, but they've been replaced by jewels on the map. Same function, just easier to see which ones are most valuable.

Do we not get traffic lights if there's not another player in your mile?
I haven't seen any for a while and not sure if that's because Ed moved his homepoint or something changed in the game or the map change happened.....

I'd prefer it if we could close the information boxes - I've just accidentally marked a diamond as inaccessible whilst trying to see if I could get it. - I could have but now, of course, it's disappeared

Think I may have found a bug:
When changing home point, the map switches back to Google maps. I couldn't see an option to toggle to OSM (but I'm using my phone, so it might be there on the proper internet).
I'm not that bothered by the info circles sticking around, although I can see them being a pain in an area with lots of things on the map.
