I would say it is much better now. You can’t accidentally click on a google shop/place of interest link when trying to see what a marker is

Oh yes NDW, that's a big + +
Not a big issue - but some of the info on the map isn't very precise. For instance, it has Sandy Rail station as being on the A1 at Beeston - don't know if that's the original map or the way it's rendered (?) within the game.
(I will have to remember to be careful not to try to follow the parish boundaries (again ;), which on OSM have a habit of looking like footpaths on some screens where the purple colour isn't different enough)

Just one thing - when you click on a marker to see who it belongs to/what it scores, there's not a little X to close it again (although this is not a major problem).

I like that you can scroll in and out again without using ctrl!

You can move round the map without having to use 2 fingers, that's a big improvement for me

Agree with all the above - big improvement. I'd also noticed the niggle with the marker info boxes that Oranj mentions.

The new map is much nicer in a lot of ways, not least of which is the scrolling as mentioned above!
A few bugs to report: * As noted above, the information boxes for markers don't have a close button to dismiss them. * When another marker is clicked the highlight circle around a previously clicked marker doesn't go away. * If you turn off a layer in the map view and then zoom or scroll the map, the markers in that layer appear again, and the layer needs to be toggled on and off again. * Clicking on a marker symbol in the "Your Current Markers" list on the Account page brings up the map centred on that marker location, but without the highlight circle around it nor the home circle.

another thing about markers - if you select a marker from your account page (e.g. to see where a new bug has appeared) it doesn't highlight the marker with a circle, and the home circle isn't marked
otherwise ok
