And I was pleased with 470 from XC on a traffic light at the weekend, but now some of them have corrupted the other lights in my circle

I'm stuck working between Christmas and new year but will hopefully capture some neglected central London traffic lights as lots of people won't be in all week

And here's me feeling guilty when I inadvertently infect bugs... I'm not cut out to top the leader board am I??

Who else leaves inaccessible bugs where they are until they are going out to squash them, to minimise risk of them getting infected by somebody else?!

You can't. But when you mark it as inaccessible it respawns. Therefore, by leaving it inaccessible until you are able to go out for a run/walk/cycle, means it can't be infected by another player.
