It is impossible for me to keep my home circle clear unless I run incredibly stupid routes just to pick up bugs and then, once they are all collected, run out of my circle. I'm just not able to run often enough or far enough to keep it clear. I've also just noticed that you no longer seem to plant flowers within your own zone. As I said before, to my mind, the game now seems to penalise what you don't do without adequately rewarding what you do do. The prize markers are the only things worth chasing.
