Shades it's hard to say it's being going on for a good while now. I walked a few mile yesterday and I couldn't feel any pain which is good but I haven't tried running.

It doesn't feel hot at the minute and I can prod it without wincing.

It seems to come back as soon as I start running again

Pam runs it's possible it may not be bursitis but bruised. Will still need time to heal but maybe not so long. Good you can walk on it OK.

Shades - I guess I could do that for back to back sessions….. but I’ve got in the back of my mind that you need to work each muscle twice a week minimum, and because I want to swim (and maybe run) as well, I don’t want to be in the gym more than 2 or 3 times in total.

There aren’t enough days in the week, that’s the problem!

RevB - I know what you mean. I'm not as busy as you with other interests/hobbies but I would find my week much easier to plan if there were 8 days a week!

No change except I'm coughing more, I had almost no sleep as everytime my throat dried out it was so painful swallowing and the coughing would start.

I've done a couple of hours at work but going to make myself a crumpet - with garlic butter and a poached egg and have a rest. Back at it for a bit more this afternoon. Its amazing how productive I can be when people think I'm not here.

Hope the heel recovers soon Pam. And I could definitely do with more days in the week/hours in a day - or a cleaner who can magically declutter my life making it all a lot more zen around here.

Geordiegirl - seems there's lots of nasty viruses going around now.

Legs/glutes trashed in the gym. Whacked another 20kg on the leg press which I may regret in the morning.

Dialled in for my work call fully lubricated to help the croak, did my piece and got told to log off. I have I honestly have no strength. On sofa with the dog.

I find it very hard to take the advice I’d give others but I need to shift this. I came for a lie down started to drop off and cough tried to choke me. I think this is training on another level 😂
