Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

2017 wasn’t my year to be slim. I’ve put on loads of lbs. maybe 2018 will be the one?!

2017 was not my year in the end. I want 2018 to be though.

I started 5:2 again a couple of weeks ago. First week went well although no weight lost which was disappointing and the second week went completely awry (4500 calories in one day? Ooops).

I'm starting the year at 71.8kg and want to lose 12kg.

Morning campers. 2017 hasn't been my weightloss year either but then again neither was 2016, 2015 or 2014 ................

I would just like to be in control of what goes in my gob I feel that food has become almost a form of self harm or punishment. So that's my mission for 2018 and if I do that then the weightloss will come

I guess being ill at this time of year does have just one little + point - I've nabaged not to put any weight on since the last time I braved the scales.
I've ended the year 18lb down from where I started it - same again in 2018 will do me nicely.

do we need a new thread yet ?

2017 has been a successful year for me, I have lost 12.5kg and with a few pounds ups and downs I am maintaining. 2018 needs to be the year of getting back into regular exercise as I am flabbier than I would like but although I was doing well til the summer studying had to take priority.

Good luck to you all

Excellent results RH and Tomsmum.
I had a good year of gradual loss / maintenance until the last 6 weeks....I am now 7lbs heavier than I was at the start of the year!! :-O
Still, tomorrow is a new day / new year, I just need to recapture that self control.

I need to have lost a good 20lbs by September 2018 so hopefully that target will be the motivation I need.
Many thanks for the support on this thread throughout the year and I wish everyone the best of luck meeting your goals in 2018!

I like nabaged as a word, RH - we should introduce it into the wider Fetchworld 👍
