Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

That was last week's - I forgot to update this week. Just a 1lb, but I fear I've put that back on over the past 24 hours.

I don’t know whether I should be on this thread or things you can't say/piss you off/whatever thread. I was really happy to find out I'll be assigned to a diabetes prevention programme and I'm all excited about it. I told my old collague who I've been friendly with, and it was clear from her response what her thoughts about it were. How ridiculous that as an overweight person I should be allocated to such a job. She can kiss my butt and I'll enjoy the job and other people's company, who are supportive, rather than her.

Many congrats on the new role Cuddy. I would argue that someone who has struggled with their weight is in a much better position to be effective in a diabetes prevention role because they truly understand the challenges that people face in achieving a weight which lowers diabetes risk. I'm sure you'll do brilliantly.

Congratulations Cuddy. Sorry your colleague is a sourpuss, but don't let her curdle your milk :-)
