I haven't done that run in years... Missed club as I was having supper after doing an informal speed session with a nice group of runners.

sorry Fetchies as usual I missed club night. I seem to have a bit of a niggle but did a 5k with club and just kept the pace easy, apart from that I've mainly been doing run/walk which I'm fine with still nice to get out That ramen looks yummy, I may look into a recipe as I tend to cook the same things all the time and I love salmon

I love salmon but can't imagine eating it in a dish in which it is underwater. Which is a bit incongruous really
I could have done a local-ish 5k that I can't normally do due to work last night, but I decided I didn't want to do it enough to bother entering. I'm trying to ease my mileage up gradually but not full of enthusiasm for running at the moment.

The recipe is really easy.
Chop some spring onions into little circles. Get a bowl full of kale in the microwave. Boil up some noodles in a saucepan. Make 750ml of chicken stock (3 cubes!) Get that simmering in a frying pan. Lob the salmon fillets in, skin side down. Add half a tsp of crushed chilli flakes, and a good squirt of soy. Turn the salmon over, and ease the skin off with a knife. When the salmon is cooked, chuck it all in two bowls. Nom.

We do a big pudding bowl full (get rid of all the thick stalks, they’re no fun), then cover it with a plate and nuke it for 4 mins. When the salmon is done, I fish that out, and lob the kale into the stock to give it chance to breed with the other ingredients for a minute or so whilst I sort the noodles.
