Listened to the latest episode on this morning’s run and very pleased to say that they were ideally suited in terms of length. Podcast finished about 10 paces from home. So good work - especially not editing the last few seconds which got me round the final corner.
Slightly more concerned about the scone/scone debate. Focusing on pronunciation totally drew everyone’s attention away from the real crime. Scones/scones should never be savoury and should only be accompanied by clotted cream and strawberry jam.
I'm away for a run and away to listen but U have also had no breakfast yet and I love a scone (as in gone) and will feel very hungry. Jam first then dollop (Great word) of cream on top
I'm not going to be drawn into that argument Mrs Jigs other than to say that by definition a Devon cream tea is cream (only clotted cream is acceptable) then jam, and I only ever eat a Devon cream tea - even when on holiday in Cornwall. Other people are free to eat their scones/scones in any manner they wish.
Of course there's always Scone, pronounced scoon, like spoon, but that's only the town near Perth, presumably?!
Great listen, thanks very much. I enjoyed your own outside broadcast contribution too. That works well. Looking forward to a Mediocre Leisure Centre Review review in a future episode!
Great to hear that Fetch's calf is fully better. Amazing really how quickly we heal. Don't do it again! (Keeping doing calf exercises occasionally is a good preventative, I think).
Love Elsie Too's OB on her quest too.
For additional content, you guys could literally just read out a few paragraphs of a featured blog, or thread content, if you wanted. There's some gold in the Fetch blogs and threads that some of us just miss because there's so much in here.
Would also be lovely to have an Episode synopsis (maybe just your own "show notes") stored against all the shows. You probably don't realise the value of your "curating" of existing Fetch content.
Thanks as always. I was listening while at gym doing weights and kept snorting and nearly falling off my wobble board, to looks of puzzlement from other gym monkeys - "...crack in your bum...", "...or two if you're lucky?!" "...pains in the bot..." "Bot?" "Yes, bot!"
Great podcast and half a mile too short for me today Never got my interview done last week but hoping to this week. I set an email just for Fetch use (If I can remember it) so hopefully no other emails will come flooding in or it will be a pain in the bot or even a pain in the in box

Contributors We love getting contributions. Here's how:
1) find somewhere with minimal background noise 2) recording on a smartphone is fine 3) start with "Hello Fetchies, it's..." 4) a couple of minutes is a good length 5) don't worry about ums, aahs and pauses. We can edit them out. 6) email the file to podcast@fetcheveryone.com
