I'm all for keeping it as relaxed as possible, but timing would make it more bonafide (particularly if we've got the big boys like Nike there). I'm happy to time any "heats" I'm not in. It'll be straightforward with two people.

And I'm very happy to help with timing in the ones I'm not in as long as someone who knows what they're doing gives me some idiotproof instructions.

I have some experience of timekeeping and am willing to help. If you are going to have semi-official time keeping, will you all be wearing numbers? Otherwise it's near impossible.
